Tuesday Thoughts

Ephesians 3:4-6 (ESV) When you read this, you can perceive my insight into the mystery of Christ, which was not made known to the sons of men in other generations as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit. This mystery is that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel. Fellow heirs in the family of God and in the Church, the Bride of Christ! In fact as Paul explains in Romans, we are grafted into Christ [the vine]. We are cautioned not to get cheeky, though since God can easily cut us off and graft the Jews back in if He should choose. Most importantly though, we are part of the Family of God. We are His children. How glorious. The Scriptures tell us, “But, as it is written, ‘What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him’”— 1 Corinthians 2:9 (ESV) I have seen many beautiful things in this world. Try to imagine the most awesome thing in this world, and you know that it will be like black and white compared to color, when we get to see God in all His Glory, and whatever He has prepared for us. Wow! And the song “I Can Only Imagine” by Mercy Me comes to mind.
